From the Prophecy of the Popes to the End Time Prophecy

The Prophecy of the Popes which is also known as the Prophecy of Saint Malachy comes from St. Malachy - the Archbishop of Armagh in Ireland of 12th Century, who has the ability of prophecy. When he was 25, he became a Father, and he became the archbishop and established the first Christian Abby in Ireland at the age of 30. It is heard that when he visited Rome in 1139, he went through the vision of the future and saw images of 112 Popes before the last judgment. He right away wrote a long list about the Popes. In the list, St. Malachy clued in about the Popes in Latin. After John Paul II passed away in 2005, Vatican assembled the cardinals around the world to elect the 111th Pope. St. Malachy described the 111th Pope as Gloria Olivae.
Therefore, some people interpreted that the new Pope may be olive skinned, and may come from Latin America or Africa. In addition, some people thought he may be the cardinal of the Jewish descent, because the olive twig symbolizes Jews in the Bible. It is also possible that the Pope has the background of St.Benedict, because when St.Benedict was founded in the 14th Century its name was Olivetans. Everyone thought the prophecy is not accurate anymore when the German cardinal Ratzinger was elected. However when Vatican announced that the regnal name of the new Pope is Benedict XVI, everyone suddenly understand the meaning of the Prophecy of St. Malachy.
Ratzinger (born on 16 April 1927, age 86) will be the last second Pope in the end times before the last judgment.
It is written in the Prophecy of St. Malachy that In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations:
and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed,
and the terrible judge will judge his people.
The last and the longest prophecy:
  • Latin: In pſsecutione extrema S.R.E. ſedebit. Petrus Romanus, qui paſcet oues in multis tribulationibus: quibus tranſactis ciuitas ſepticollis diruetur, & Iudex tremẽdus iudicabit populum ſuum. Finis.

  • English translation: "In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations:
and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed,
and the terrible judge will judge his people.
The End."
