Daily Bread- June 19, 2018

Doug Addison

This is a significant day as a new gate is now opening in the spirit over you.
Marsha Burns

Set yourself in a place of quiet strength. Clamoring will only bring chaos and unwanted attention. Take the time necessary to seek My wisdom regardless of how elusive it may seem, and wait until you have clear understanding and guidance before you take the next step. Rest assured that I am with you and will direct you, says the Lord. Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; when he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.

Bev Robinson

Don't give up. I know you aren't thinking about it now, but later there will be a time when you are tempted. You can't imagine it now, but it will come, and you will remember My warning. It helps you to be on the alert. Your enemy is always looking for ways to trip you up. But he won't get to do it this time, because you won't weaken and give in. I am alerting you now. 1 Peter 5:8-9 (ESV) "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world."

Kevin Robinson

For some reason you are determined to dig up the past. You have become comfortable living in the past as well. You rehash old feelings and emotions. Is there some type of rush that you experience when you excavate timeworn events that caused heartaches and headaches? What is your reasoning behind the rehashing? Don't subject yourself to the pain, misery and suffering. Let it go. Move forward never to return. Live in the present. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP) "Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]."

Robin Robinson Bohlin

You WILL lead your family when you follow Me. A family is designed to have a leader. Family was set up that way. A matriarch and patriarch are pivotal and will determine destinies. Do not shirk that responsibility; it comes by design. It is in your power to shape future generations. Keep your eyes on me. Do not think too highly of yourself. Set the pattern for those behind you to follow. Generations will be affected by you! Genesis 17:5 (NLT) "What's more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram. Instead, you will be called Abraham, for you will be the father of many nations."
