A freaky video has emerged capturing what conspiracy theorists believe to be the sound of the seven apocalyptic trumpets.
The video, uploaded to Twitter on Sunday from somewhere in the US, shows the eerie sounds of robust horns echoing.
It appears to be filmed in the morning as a cloak of fog masks the street outside.
The cameraman opened the front door to hear the sound of the trumpets intensify.
The clip has caused mass fear that the apocalypse is upon us.
Some viewers pointed to a passage in the Bible in a bid to prove the bizarre theory.
Seven trumpets are sounded by seven angels to mark judgement day in the Book of Revelation.
On each blast of the horn, another disaster is described as devastating Earth such as mass fires and "the sea becoming blood".
They are used to warn the "sinners of Earth" to repent before the seventh trumpet is sounded, indicating the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Some 3.8 million people have viewed the clip.
One person said: "This is a phenomenon that’s been happening for years all around the world."
A second bizarrely added: "It’s documented that people have been witnessing these noises for 200 years now."
While a third simply referenced the H.G. Wells novel The War of the Worlds.
It is not the first time the apocalyptic trumpets have been recorded.
But experts have often provided more scientific explanations for the bizarre sounds.
Most scientific research points to natural causes such as tidal waves, methane explosions, underground earthquakes, or shifting sand dunes as explanations for these aural phenomena.
