The Salvation of Israel and the Second Coming of Jesus

Revelation, lesson 6

The Key Components:

• Prison, escape, and return of Israel
• The process and procedure of the second coming of Jesus Christ
• The times when Jesus comes again.

The Circumstances of Israel In the Last Three Years:

• Be killed（Zechariah 13, most of Israelites）
• Be captured in prison or in the concentration camps（Zechariah 14，Daniel 7:25）
• Be deceived, and think the anti-Christ is the real Christ. (Mathew 24:24）
• Be chosen by God. Those who escape successfully and shelter in the cities of refuge are true Israelites and Jews who are waiting for Messiah.

The Time for the Chosen Israelites(True Israelites) to Escape:
Mathew 24:15-28, “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’…… then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains……Let no one on the housetop go down……Let no one in the field go back……Pray that……
The time: when the anti-Christ declares himself as God, it’s time to run.
How should we run? Where to go?

God Sets up the Cities of Refuge in the World.

Some testimony God made us to experience last year:

The Israelites Hiding in the Cities of Refuge:

• Accept Jesus Christ or be abandoned
• Wait for rapture

(Revelation 12:6, 13-17)

“The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days……When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.”

The woman: the bride of Christ

God will protect His bride: verse 6, “a place prepared for her by God.”

How does God save: verse 14,16, two wings of a great eagle, the miracle. (Eagle: implies the prophetic revelation)

Flee to the wilderness: verse 6

But the earth helped: God uses various miracles to help

Duration to be taken care: 1260 days, a time, times and half a time.

Three Kinds of Persons to Come to Life: A Boy with an Iron Scepter, the Woman, and Other Sons and Daughters.

Revelation 20:4-6

“I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.”

1. A boy with an iron scepter: “thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.”
2. The woman: “I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God.”
3.  Other sons and daughters “They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.”

The Process of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ:

1.   Jesus Will Appear in the Sky: Churches Will Be Taken up.(Mathew 24:30-31; Revelation 1:7 )

 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen.

2.   Jesus Will Lead Angels and Saints to the Ground, and Entering Edom (Jordan) from Egypt. He Will Judge and Kill Satan and Its Followers (Isaiah 63; Habakkuk 3; Revelation 19:11-21), and Will Save Prisoned Jews.

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

 KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.” Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.”

3.   Jesus Enters Jerusalem in the End.

The Mount of Olives will be split in two(Revelation 19:11-21; Zechariah 14:1-9) The anti-Christ will be defeated completely and the Kingdom of a thousand year will begin.

(Zechariah 14:1-9)

“A day of the LORD is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. It will be a unique day—a day known only to the LORD—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light. On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter. The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name. ”

The Second Coming Procession involves a 3 stage process which includes many events. This Procession begins in the sky at the 7th Trumpet with the Rapture and ends on the earth after the 7th Bowl to end the Armageddon campaign with an astonishing victory over the armies of the Antichrist at Jerusalem (Rev. 19:11-21; Zech. 14:1-9).
Stage #1: Jesus’ procession across the sky: to rapture the Church (Mt. 24:30-31; Rev. 1:7).
Stage #2: Jesus’ procession on the land: traveling from Egypt through Jordan (Isa. 63; Hab. 3).
Stage #3: Jesus’ procession into Jerusalem: to the Mount of Olives followed by His coronation.

1.      Jesus Will Appear in the Sky:

1) People all over the world will see the vision of the second coming of Jesus. (Mathew 24:30-31; Revelation 1:7; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16)
Questions: How many days? How long?
A lunar month is 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, 3 seconds long, more than 29 days and less than 30 days. From a crescent moon to next crescent moon, the period between them is 29.5306 solar days and it is called a lunar month. One month equals to a circle in which the moon goes around the Earth and that is also a lunar month. The period of a lunar month is 29.53059……days, which are 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, 3 seconds which is called calendar month.

The New Jerusalem comes down from the heaven, and Jesus with thousands of saints and angels and the New Jerusalem need to be seen by every single person on the Earth. At that time, Jesus and saints are in the Holy City 4000 kilo meters long, wide and high.(Revelation 21:16)  To make the City down, the City could circle around the Earth to make all people in the world see, that would take about 30 days.

2) The saints will be taken up: Mathew 21:31; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 11:11-12, 15-17, 16:15; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

• Sound the seventh trumpet
• Those who died in Christ will come to life first（Question：Does that mean all the Christians? Revelation 20:4-6）
• It’s related to 1260 days and is before the war.

Who Will Be Taken up?

The Christians and Jews who go through the great disasters in the last three and half years and who overcome.

1）The bride of Christ

（Revelation19:6-9）“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
2) Revelation 17:14 ：The called, the chosen, the faithful and those who overcome.

3）Revelation 20:4-5

“I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.”

2.      Jesus Will Lead Angels and Saints to the Ground, and Entering Edom (Jordan) from Egypt. (Isaiah 63; Habakkuk 3; Revelation 19:11-21), and will save prisoned Jews.

What kind of persons? (Revelation 17:14) The called, the chosen, the faithful, and those who will overcome.

In the final war, the beast and false prophets and its followers will be judged and destroyed.

Why are there birds?  “…And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”  

All the released Jews will fight with Jesus together.

3.      Jesus Enters Jerusalem in the End.

• The Mount of Olives will be split in two
• The anti-Christ will be defeated completely
• The Kingdom of a thousand year will begin（Zecharians14:16-21，Ezekiel 47-48，Revelation 20：4-6）

We Will Be Taken up Before the Disasters, in the Disasters, or after the Disasters?

The Bible only said to be taken up.

Three Different Days at the End Times

1. 1260 days (Revelation 11:3; 12:6); a time, times and half a time.（Daniel 7:25,12:7)，In the middle of the seven（three and half years, Daniel 9:27)，42months (Revelation 11:2; 13:5) = three and half years.
2. 1290 days = 1260 +30 （Daniel 12:7,11）a time, times and half a time…From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
3. The saints will be taken up when the last trumpet is sounded （The seventh trumpet. That’s 1260 days, Revelation 11:15）After the abomination who causes desolation sets up the worship system for 1260 days, God will allow him to survive for just 30 days.

The Following Three Kinds of Activities that Relate to People of God Will End After 1260 Days

• The supernatural support to the saints from God exist for 1260 days
• Two witnesses with sackcloth will prophecy for 1260 days.
• The anti-Christ will fight with the saints (Daniel 7:25, Revelation 13:5-7) and take over Jerusalem for 1260 days.

The worship system of the anti-Christ will be existing for 1290 days including the 30 days after the seventh trumpet. And the saints will be taken up, after, a big disaster will occur:
The seventh bowl; Jesus with thousands of saints and angels will enter Jerusalem to destroy the anti-Christ. (Isaiah 63:1-6)  Jesus will enter Jerusalem via Edom.

1335 days = 1290+45 (Daniel 12:12)  Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

After 1290 days, it’s time for the Lamb to marry. We will clear up the battlefield and get prepared for the New Jerusalem and set up the new kingdom of millennium.

Misunderstanding and Discussion About the Second Coming of Jesus

(Mathew 24:36) But about that day or hour no one knows…
No one knows about that day or hour,…

What Are Things We Don’t Know? What Are Things We Must Know?
(1 Thessalonians 5:1-4) "Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. "

What we don’t know: the specific day and time. Any prophecy related to the specific day and time is the spirit of the anti-Christ and false prophets.

We must know: The times and dates of second coming of the Lord, because:

• We are all children of the light（5:5）
• So that we won’t suffer a loss（5:3-4，Spiritually）

We know what we should be alert to: about time

We know what we should keep: about life

What We Must Know: The “Times and Dates” of Second Coming of the Lord.

• According to the split of Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Holy House, we can speculate the difference between the times we are in and the times of second coming of Jesus ― in the middle of the seven and is about to enter the rear three and half years.
• According to the time when the anti-Christ reveals his real side and the time when it calls himself the king, we can speculate the times when Jesus comes again. ― The year and the season ― Everyone should have already get the picture, and it’s needless to say.
• According to the rebuilding of the Holy House, the trend at the end times, the astronomical and natural phenomena, and the God leading to a person, we can realize the veiled times.
