The Spirit of Rebellion
This spirit causes people to
exalt themselves, to be exalted by others, to resist authority, and to reject
discipline or boundaries.
Concept:
The root of rebellion is
spiritual immaturity. Young people are more prone to rebellion, and it often
manifests in pride, arrogance, self-satisfaction, and self-righteousness.
Rebellion is an attitude born from spiritual immaturity and fleshly desires—this
is what rebellion is.
Manifestations
of Rebellion:
- Pursuing things God has forbidden—not
seeking God’s heart; pursuing in the wrong way or at the wrong time;
openly betraying those in authority; inciting rebellion; stealing God’s
glory and power; disobedience. These are six major signs of
rebellion.There is a clear disregard for God’s laws, including engaging in
activities that God has strictly forbidden—such as murder. However,
rebellion often manifests in more subtle and hidden ways. Disobedience
becomes a stumbling block in our path. This can include unforgiveness or
ignoring the need to ask for help. The Lord has clearly declared certain
actions to be forbidden (Romans 1:28–32; Galatians 5:19–21). He does not
do this to ruin our enjoyment but because He knows these behaviors bring
destructive consequences.
Romans 1:28-32
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting
backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (Romans 1:30)
undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; (Romans 1:31)
who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:32)
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
(Gal 5:19)
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, (Gal 5:20)
envy, murders, drunkenness,
revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also
told you in time past, that those who practice such things will
not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:21)
Rebellion is often accompanied by a whole host of behaviors. The more it progresses, the more powers become entangled with it. Rebellion occurs most often in people who are spiritually immature, which is why it's more commonly seen in young people. They tend to enjoy pushing boundaries—challenging limits, questioning authority, breaking rules, and opposing God's established laws. These behaviors indicate a heart that does not seek God's will.
·
2.Even when what is being pursued
is within God's will, the method or timing may be wrong. In the
Christian life, we are granted much freedom—God can give us wealth, success,
and relationships. However, believers are not free to pursue these things
through theft, deceit, or injustice. I may be pursuing something God allows,
but on my own schedule. Impatience often leads people into debt or
harmful relationships. We may start chasing after something before clearly
understanding God's guidance.
·
3.Open
rebellion is defiance against rulers or authorities—it is a defining trait of
opposition to God. Satan himself is a rebel. Rebellion against an established
government, especially when public and armed, reflects—in spiritual
terms—resistance and opposition to the Kingdom of God. The spirit of betrayal and rebellion is characterized by
resistance to all forms of authority and disregard for any laws or rules. Such
a person does whatever they want, believing they don’t need anyone to tell them
what’s right or wrong—they act willfully and recklessly. The “spirituality” of resisting authority is, in fact, a
corrupted spirituality. When someone rebels against God, His Word, and the
earthly authorities He has established, that person’s heart has fallen. We must be alert to the spirit of rebellion.
As Scripture warns: "The
heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know
it?" (Jeremiah 17:9)
·
4. Inciting rebellion means stirring others to resist or
betray legitimate authority.
Absalom, the son of David, is an example of one who incited rebellion—he
secretly stirred people to oppose David. A person with the “spirit of Absalom” is often dissatisfied
with leadership and ungrateful for the guidance of current leaders. They are
usually filled with anger and manipulate others to accomplish their own plans. Such a person focuses solely on their own rights while
ignoring the rights and needs of others.This is a manifestation of a rebellious
spirit, and over time, it can lead to the incitement of rebellion.
·
5. Another form of rebellion is through witchcraft, which
involves taking glory for oneself—usurping the glory that belongs to God's
nature, His works, and His power.
When God accomplishes something by His power and grace, and a person or a
church credits it to human effort or merit, the spirit of witchcraft begins to
operate.The goal of witchcraft is to steal God’s glory by attributing divine
results to oneself.
Gifts and life come from God, and glory should be given to Him alone.To prevent
witchcraft from operating within us, we must humble ourselves before God.
The Lord will lift up the humble.Those who humble themselves before God have
hope and walk in true humility before the Lord.
·
6. Disobedience is manifested in the following ways:
(1) Lawlessness;
(2) A complete lack of order;
(3) Disrespect for the law;
(4) Disregard for boundaries;
(5) Refusal to submit to the authorities established by God.
Witchcraft includes two forms of rebellion:
- The demonic form, that is, Satanic witchcraft;
- White witchcraft, which is practiced by
people within the church—this is “Christian-style witchcraft.” Both
can be active. So when white witchcraft is at work, the spirit of
rebellion has already entered. Christian-style witchcraft is very cunning
and therefore requires special vigilance. If your prayers are filled with
personal hatred and accusations, they will have an effect—Satan will
listen to such prayers, and the spirit of witchcraft will respond to them,
which is terrifying. Do not offend God in your prayers! When you draw near
to God using a method tainted by witchcraft, the Lord is grieved. Prayer
must be motivated by love for the Lord, zeal, and a heart that loves both
God and people.
Rebellion is an evil spirit.
Those who do not submit in this generation expose themselves to the evil
spirits of Satan’s kingdom and allow themselves to be attacked. Refusing to
submit and resisting the authority given by God is a manifestation of the spirit
of rebellion. It is lawlessness and directly opposes the spiritual principles
and laws of the Kingdom of Heaven.The principles of the Kingdom refer to the
godly standards in the Bible, as well as the moral laws established by a nation
to protect its citizens and enable them to live honest and upright lives.
Anything that resists these is rebellion and must be repented of.
Satan’s nature is rebellion; he resists the Spirit of Christ. The most obvious trait of the spirit of the antichrist is rebelling against the law of God, but God's laws are there to protect people and bring them into His blessings, ensuring that they remain in His favor. Those who love God do not sin or violate His laws. Rebellion leads a person into death.
The sin of rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is like the sin of idolatry and worshiping false gods (1 Samuel 15:23). Rebellion is witchcraft. Its root lies in spiritual immaturity, and it is manifested in pride and arrogance. When a person resists the authorities appointed by God and refuses to submit to righteous laws and proper order, they fall under the influence of the spirit of the antichrist. God desires to rebuild a world that is orderly and reflects His character.
Rebellion leads to death. The ultimate outcome of rebellion is witchcraft. This is why Christians who fall easily, encounter spiritual problems, or drift away from God, often do so because of rebellion. It is the work of an evil spirit. Rebellion operates on personal, corporate, and even national levels.
Causes of
Rebellion
1.Emphasizing the Law but Not Living Out Grace
In some families of origin, there
is a strong emphasis on law but a lack of grace. This kind of family model
focuses only on rules and systems. Each family member has clearly defined roles
and responsibilities, which can have a positive effect on the operation of the
household. However, when grace is neglected, the environment becomes rigid, and
the relationships between family members grow cold and distant, lacking the
emotional connection that humans need. Those who grow up bound by such systems
and live in fear for a long time are easily influenced by resentment and
rebellious attitudes, which can then enter and affect the entire household.
2.
Families That Are Indulgent and Lack Discipline
Rebellion can also arise in
families where there is no discipline—where people do whatever they want.
Parents raise their children with indulgence and pampering. Even when the child
does wrong, they are not corrected or rebuked, which becomes a form of permissiveness.
Children raised under such unhealthy parenting models often develop a dislike
for learning, lack of discipline, and a tendency toward indulgent behavior.
They are also prone to develop rebellious emotions, and such emotions can grow
with them and become fixed traits in their character.
3.
Families With Serious Underlying Issues
In problematic families, children
may experience abuse or violations from relatives they know and trust, or be
mistreated under adult authority. This not only leads to feelings of betrayal
by their loved ones but may also cause them to blame themselves for not
protecting themselves properly. Growing up in such a family environment can
easily result in the development of rebellious emotions and attitudes.
Ultimately, the emotion of rebellion stems from a self-centered value system—this is the true root of rebellion. When a person sees themselves as important, resistance to authority arises, because both rebellion and obedience are fundamentally related to power and authority. In the Bible, Satan is referred to as the "morning star, son of the dawn," but he became arrogant and attempted to place himself on equal footing with the Most High God. Satan forgot that he was a created being and deliberately rebelled against God. As a result, he was cast down from heaven and thrown to the earth.
Bible says:
“How you are fallen from heaven,O Lucifer, son
of the morning!How you are cut down to the ground,You who weakened
the nations!13 For you have said in your heart:‘I will
ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;I will also
sit on the mount of the congregationOn the farthest sides of the north;14 I
will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’ (Isaiah 14:12-14)
Six
Distinct Characteristics of Rebellion:
1.Self-righteousness
and Self-centeredness
They do not consider God as the Lord of their lives, nor do they care about the needs of others. A self-righteous person is solely focused on obtaining what they desire and has no interest in cooperating with others.
2.
Scheming
In order to achieve their goals, they will stop at nothing. They also manipulate others and devise various strategies to reach their objectives. This is the second cause of rebellion.
3.Shifting Blame and Accusing Others
They blame others and always think it’s someone else’s fault. With a heart full of complaints and a mindset of shirking responsibility, rebellious people blame others when things go wrong. On the other hand, when they are criticized, they feel misunderstood and believe others don't care about them.
4.Cold and Ruthless
In order to protect themselves, they will do whatever it takes—even shifting blame—showing no compassion toward others. Such people lack love inside; they have neither received love nor are willing to show it. Their lives are immature, lacking the work of the Holy Spirit, and void of God. Since God's nature is love and mercy, it is difficult for someone without God in their life to live according to His standards.
5. Contempt and Hostility Toward Others
They look down on others, always holding their heads high, thinking they are superior. A self-centered person will treat anyone who blocks their path with contempt, and even hostility.
6. Strong Desire for Control and Possession
Rebellious people are selfish and tend to grab and
possess everything. The desire to control or possess stems from a deep sense of
insecurity. When people measure satisfaction by what they can gain or control,
they are prone to these desires. Therefore, rebellion and control often go hand
in hand. In the realm of darkness, this is very common. When you see such
behaviors and traits, you can recognize that the spirit of rebellion is already
at work in that person.
Thus, true discernment comes from having already overcome certain forces in
your own life. When that happens, it becomes easier to recognize these traits
in others—you’ll immediately realize, “Oh, I used to be just like that,” and
discernment will naturally arise.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I bring everyone before our Heavenly Father. I ask God to shine His light upon me: to see whether, in my family and in the lives of my parents, the power of rebellion has entered because of family disharmony, lack of self-discipline, an overemphasis on legalism, absence of familial affection, distance, and coldness. I stand in the gap to confess and repent on their behalf. If it is because my family has tolerated one another without proper boundaries, lacking self-discipline, suffering from significant spiritual issues and broken relationships—then I come before God asking Him to illuminate me. I also ask God to examine my own life: Am I self-centered?
Do I often calculate against others at all costs, or when
something happens, do I always complain and shift the blame? Am I cold and
unfeeling, lacking love in order to protect myself? Have I ever despised others and caused them
to feel unsafe? May God shine His light upon us.
Pray to Break:
1. Self-righteousness:
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits. (Proverbs 16:2)
Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy,
and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable,
poor, blind, and naked. (Revelation 3:17)
Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being. (1 Cor 10:24)
among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. (Eph 2:3)
2. Scheming:
There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless
the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21)
Salt is good, but if
the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in
yourselves, and have peace with one another. (Mark 9:50)
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)
I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
But the wisdom that is from
above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy
and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (James
3:17)
And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;
3. Blaming:
How long shall I bear
with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the
complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. (Numbers 14:27)
The foolishness of a man twists his way, And his heart frets against the Lord. (Proverbs 19:3)
And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? (Matthew 7:3)
Or how can you say to your
brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a
plank is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:4)
Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! (James 5:9)
He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. (Proverbs 17:9)
4. Cold and
Ruthless:
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)
He who plots to do evil will be called
a schemer.( Proverbs 24:8)
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:2)
If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does
not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will
He not render to each man according to his deeds?
(Proverbs 24:12)
5. Contempt:
And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. (Luke 16:15)
But why do you judge your
brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all
stand before the judgment seat of Christ. (Romans 14:10)
There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness. (Proverbs 30:12)
Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10)
6. Strong Desire for Control:
Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! (Luke 17:1)
Then I said, ‘I have labored in vain, I have spent my
strength for nothing and in vain;
Yet surely my just reward is with the Lord, And
my work with my God.’ ”(Isaiah 49:4)
and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness
of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it
becomes unfruitful. (Mark 4:19)
“You shall not permit a sorceress to live. (Exodus 22:18)
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”(1 Samuel 15:23)
Abba Father, dear Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty Holy Spirit, Triune God, today I come before You, to confess and repent before You for the curses of rebellion and disobedience caused by sin in my personal life and in my family. I acknowledge and now break and renounce the sins of rebellion and disobedience committed by myself, my family, and my ancestors, as well as our agreement with the lies of the devil, certain false belief systems, and the behaviors that came out of them.
Prayer:
In the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You on behalf
of myself, my family, and my ancestors to confess and repent for the following:
Not seeking God's will in all things, but acting
according to our own thoughts;
Knowing God's will, yet refusing to obey for various reasons;
Disobeying the authorities established by God in the church / ministry /
workplace / family, etc.;
Not honoring, or even provoking, the authorities established by God in the
church / ministry / workplace / family, etc.;
Having impure motives in loving God and people, seeking to showcase our own
abilities and talents;
Despising, looking down on, and failing to honor brothers
and sisters in the Lord, thinking only of ourselves;
To achieve our own purposes, refusing to submit to authority, dishonoring
order, sparing no cost, and practicing witchcraft;
Judging the words, actions, and thoughts of other brothers and sisters publicly
or behind their backs;
Shifting blame when problems arise, without examining our own faults and
responsibilities;
Being self-righteous and self-pitying, feeling hurt by others’ correction,
blaming others for not understanding or empathizing;
When facing difficulties, complaining about the environment or even God,
viewing matters with a negative mindset and perspective;
Lacking love, being critical and harsh toward brothers
and sisters, without mercy, tolerance, or acceptance;
Having a despising or even hostile attitude toward the suggestions or differing
opinions of brothers and sisters, without gratitude;
Using behavior, attitude, or speech to practice witchcraft within the group to
try to control leaders or other brothers and sisters to follow our own will;
Forming cliques within the group because of differing opinions;
Inciting other brothers and sisters in the group to disobey, oppose, or even
publicly provoke the authority and leadership;
When leaders have shortcomings, not being understanding or compassionate, but
instead pointing fingers, judging, and accusing;
Acting according to our own thoughts and desires,
regardless of the consequences;
In the family, using behavior, attitude, or speech to practice witchcraft to
try to control husband / wife / children to follow our own will;
In the workplace, using behavior, attitude, or speech to practice witchcraft to
try to control colleagues to follow our own will;
In the holy name of Jesus Christ, I declare all of these null and void. They shall no longer affect me and my descendants. In the holy name of Jesus Christ, I cancel all the works of the spirits of curses. I have been delivered from curses and have entered into blessing.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind and command all evil
spirits related to these curses to leave me and go to the place where the Lord
Jesus commands you to go. You are not allowed to return, nor to disturb or harm
anyone. Abba Father, I ask You to send angels to help me and accomplish all the
works that I have prayed for. Thank You, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen!
Declaration and Blessing Prayer:
1.
I declare that the blood of Jesus
Christ has cleansed and delivered me. The power of these sins no longer affects
me. He is the Mediator of the new covenant for me. This new covenant gives me
the authority to overcome them.
Father, today I ask for all their record files to be removed and revoked, and
submitted to Your judgment seat.
Lord, I now ask for the Seven Spirits of the Lord—the One who bears witness to
my salvation and sonship—to release me from the power of rebellion.
Lord, in this judgment, please cleanse me, and search me to see if there is any
wicked way in me.
2. Through this declaration of renunciation, I completely nullify all unholy covenants, agreements, transactions, words/curses, sacrifices/offerings, money, and pacts made in my bloodline with the ungodly world, rulers, authorities, thrones, and systems.
By the blood of Jesus Christ, I seal off all ungodly paths, entry points,
portals, connections, networks, and realms—so that the enemy shall no longer
have any access points.
Through the blood of Jesus Christ, I destroy every trap, snare, or cord of
iniquity that could reconnect this bloodline to darkness. I remove every throne
of fallen angels, and silence every voice of demons, guardian spirits, spirit
entities, and tormentors—by the blood of Jesus Christ, they are rendered
speechless.
Every generational promise and gift, every prophecy spoken to me—past, present, and future—shall now be fully released without delay, detour, or interruption.
The Lord of Hosts is sending heavenly messengers to the north, south, east, and
west to redeem the seed of this bloodline. Every plan of destruction from
Satan’s power is now thwarted.
3. I now declare and decree over myself, my family, my bloodline, and the destiny of (nation), according to what You said in Isaiah 43:26:
“Put Me in remembrance; Let us
contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.” (Isaiah 43:26,
NKJV)
I declare and command that all
which is written in Your heavenly books concerning me, my family, and (nation)
shall come to pass now.
4. In the name of Jesus Christ, I now ask that all according to Your kingdom purpose, the image in which You created me, and the plans You have ordained for me in this world, be fulfilled completely.
Thus, the river of God is now flowing from the throne of God, washing away the
defilement in the bloodline, and bringing life to everyone who dwells along the
banks.
Through Jesus Christ, this family is now joyfully drawing water from the wells
of salvation:
“Therefore with joy you will draw
water from the wells of salvation.” (Isaiah 12:3, NKJV)
Therefore, a thousandfold
blessing of restoration has been granted to this family—in spirit, body, soul,
and emotions:
“May the Lord God of your fathers
make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has
promised you!” (Deuteronomy 1:11, NKJV)
5. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bless the Tree of Life that You have planted in my life. I receive Christ and fully surrender to the life of the Father. I take on the mind of Christ, rooted in the truth and life of Jesus, filled with the sap of the Holy Spirit, bearing the full and abundant fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
6. I declare that I receive all the fullness of Christ. Christ lives in me. What I think, say, and do follows the leading of the Holy Spirit. I now fully belong to Christ.
7. I declare that I am a tree planted by streams of water; my leaves will not wither, and I will bear fruit in season. Whatever I do will prosper! I consecrate my spirit, soul, and body to You. May all that I ask, think, say, and do bring glory to Your name! In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
8. “Then will I sprinkle clean
water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all
your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new
spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your
flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within
you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and
do them.” (Ezekiel 36:25–27, KJV)
(A prophetic action may be included here: take a small
amount of water, bless it in Jesus’ name, consecrate it as holy water, anoint
yourself with the Holy Spirit’s anointing seven times, and sprinkle it upon
yourself.)
9. Lord, thank You! When I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank You for sprinkling clean water on me, cleansing me from all impurity and idols. Thank You for giving me a new heart and putting a new spirit within me. Thank You for removing my heart of stone and giving me a heart of flesh. I thank You, Holy Spirit, for dwelling in me and enabling me to walk in Your statutes, carefully obeying Your laws and commands.
10.I open myself to the presence of God. I ask the Holy Spirit to fill me with new life — my spirit, soul (mind, emotions, will, memory, and imagination), and every organ system of my body. I fill my spirit, soul, and body with God's Word and promises. I proclaim God’s promises — O my soul, bless the Lord. All that is within me, bless His holy name!
11. Lord, I declare Your promise in Psalm 103: You forgive all my iniquities, heal all my diseases, redeem my life from destruction, crown me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, satisfy my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
12. We proclaim Your promise in Psalm 36:
“Your mercy, O Lord, is in the
heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like
the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man
and beast. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children
of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly
satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the
river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we
see light. Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your
righteousness to the upright in heart.”(Psalms 36:5-10 NKJV)
13. Lord, You desire that we would close up the breaches in our lives, no longer living in self, but being deeply rooted in Your Word, rooted in Your love, and rooted on the rock of Your truth and love. May Your love, Lord, be poured deeply into the field of our hearts, like watering the garden of David, so that we may become vessels and channels of Your love, filled with the love, light, faith, and righteousness that come from You.
14.I declare: God brings forth the fruit of the Holy
Spirit in my life, and compensates us sevenfold with life and peace, granting
double blessing and a heart that loves God, loves people, and loves the truth.
God helps us—to manifest His character in our actions, attitudes, speech,
emotions, gentleness, and kindness. May God Himself compensate those whom I
once defrauded or mistreated through witchcraft and sorcery, and may the Holy
Spirit specially lead me and keep me from making the same mistakes again, because
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we
should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26 NKJV)
So that where we are weak, we may be made strong there.
15. Lord, I know that when I make such choices and declarations, even if I have not yet fully achieved them, You are still willing to dwell in me, dwell in my marriage and my family. I want to joyfully receive Jesus in all things in my family. I want to bring Jesus into my home, I want to let Jesus enter every room and every relationship in my marriage and family, no longer hiding from my Lord, no longer locking many doors of my heart, of relationships, and of my home to the Lord Jesus.
I want to open all these doors: the door of emotions, the door of marriage, the
door of relationships, the door of finances, the door of prayer, the door of
devotion, the living room, the bedroom, all doors to my Lord Jesus.
16.Lord, please shine Your light, may the fragrance of the Lord fill every place, welcome the Lord to step into every room and take charge of every room. Reign and rule over every room and every relationship, and Lord, help me to be renewed day by day, and increasingly love each person according to Your will, and by the help of the Holy Spirit fulfill the promise of transferring sovereignty, let me be a faithful and covenant-keeping person. Let me become a tree of righteousness, a garden watered by You, let me be the one in my marriage, family, and ancestral generations who stands in the gap.
Tear down generational curses of marriage, tear down generational curses in relationships, tear down generational curses of poverty, tear down generational curses of sickness and inheritance, become a messenger and priest of God who rebuilds the desolate places of old, restores the paths, and brings reconciliation between people.
We have finished. Remember to pray a cleansing prayer,
and once again put on the whole armor of God. All forces that have been
involved due to deliverance must now leave our family, our careers and lives,
and depart from the surroundings of our lives. May the Lord continue to bless
our path ahead, sever all disturbances and invasions that come from these
forces due to deliverance, and keep us continually in the mighty power of the
Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen!!
